The Denver Broncos will only have two quarterbacks active on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, Brady Quinn will be inactive for the game in order to allow the team to have depth at wide receiver. Both Eddie Royal and Demaryius Thomas are returning from injury this week and the team doesn't want to be stuck like they were in Week 2 when Tebow had to play as an emergency receiver. Tebow can't do this time around and Kyle Orton won't be lining up in the slot.
While this situation could change in the weeks ahead, at least for this week we know that Kyle Orton is favored as the backup to Tebow. However, coach John Fox needs to stick with Tebow even if he struggles. Putting Orton back in at the first sign of trouble would be a disaster.
