Week 7 NFL Power Rankings: Denver Broncos Should Stay Static

The Denver Broncos are coming off a bye week so they are unlikely to move up or down in any major way this week.

When the NFL power rankings come out on Tuesday, the Denver Broncos will still find themselves not quite at the bottom of them, but still very near there. The bye week won't give rankers enough fodder to drop them all the way to the bottom, and as long as there are winless teams the Broncos will always look better than those ones.

But do expect the short blurbs to be about Tim Tebow making his first start or about the team looking to trade players.

Among the rest of the AFC West, the Raiders could find themselves inside the top 10 if they have a believer in them. Otherwise, the San Diego Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs will also stay in their same general area of the to p10 and the top 20.

As for the rest of the league, the Green Bay Packers will still remain at No. 1 with their 6-0 start. Had the Detroit Lions defeated the San Francisco 49ers they likely still be a top five team, but expect them to fall this week. They face the Broncos in Denver in two weeks.
