John Fox Leaning Toward Tuesday For Possible Tim Tebow Announcement

Speculation that Denver Broncos head coach John Fox will name a starting quarterback, either Tim Tebow or Kyle Orton, on Tuesday will likely prove to be true. During his Monday press conference, Fox told reports (via Andrew Mason of MaxDenver.com):

"There'd be a strong likelihood we'll address that (QB situation) tomorrow."

The players are off on Monday, and the team wants to inform the players of the decision before announcing it to the media. That announcement will likely come before the team practices on Tuesday, allowing the starter to get all the first-team reps. With the bye this week, the team will just practice on Tuesday and Wednesday before taking off Thursday through Sunday, per the new NFL CBA rules.

Fox also addressed the situation with Brady Quinn, who had been co-listed with Tebow as the team's No. 2. Fox confirmed that Tebow was the team's No. 2 quarterback all along.
