Tim Tebow Could Be Named Starter As Early As Tuesday, According To Report

The Denver Broncos don't play again until Oct. 23 when they visit the Miami Dolphins. Head coach John Fox didn't mention who he would start in that game or for the rest of the season, but it would be a major upset if Kyle Orton remained the team's starter. Mike Klis of the Denver Post believes Fox will take Columbus Day and then announce that Tim Tebow is his starting quarterback on Tuesday.

It doesn't serve much purpose for Fox to wait on making this move. If Tebow is to be the starter, he clearly needs to start taking all the first-team snaps as soon as possible. A two-week process should be able to coach up to an acceptable standard, having had only second- and third-team reps during training camp and in-season practices.

Now the Denver Broncos have a chance to finally settle on Tim Tebow's future as a Bronco.
