2011 NFL Draft Prospects: Alabama's Trio of Marcell Dareus, Mark Ingram, Julio Jones Declare For Draft

The Alabma Crimson Tide appear to have three players selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Defensive lineman Marcell Dareus, running back Mark Ingram and wide receiver Julio Jones held a press conference on Friday afternoon to announce their entry into the draft.

Dareus is the only player out of the three the Denver Broncos should have any interest in with the No. 2 overall pick. As we noted yesterday, Dareus is a force to be reckoned with and would fit nicely in at any place on the Broncos' line. In Mocking the Draft's Top 200 players, Dareus is No. 8 overall and the third highest rated defensive lineman, behind only Clemson's Da'Quan Bowers and Auburn's Nick Fairley.

Ingram won the 2009 Heisman Trophy and had a down year in 2010, but his future star in the NFL is bright. He is MTD's top running back in the draft and the 15th player overall.

Julio Jones is MTD's No. 6 player and second among wide receivers, behind Georgia's A.J. Green.

The underclassmen declarations are piling up now and will give the Broncos plenty of talent to choose from throughout the entire draft.
