2011 Pro Bowl Final Score: DeAngelo Hall Named MVP As NFC Wins, 55-41

The 2011 Pro Bowl failed to have much drama in it after the NFC All-Stars jumped out to a 42-7 lead at halftime. The AFC All-Stars battled back in the second half with 34 additional points on the board, but they still lost, 55-41. However, the AFC team did provide the most excitement during their last drive of the game when center Alex Mack eventually wound up with the ball following several laterals. Once in possession of the ball, Mack ran all the way into the end zone (but the team failed on the two-point conversion).

AFC quarterback Philip Rivers threw for 192 yard with two touchdowns and two interceptions. His NFC counterpart, Matt Ryan, threw for 188 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Jamaal Charles led the AFC rushing attack with 72 yards and a touchdown, while Adrian Peterson had 80 yards and one touchdown.

For the Denver Broncos, receiver Brandon Lloyd was a target six times and made one catch for 15 yards. Cornerback Champ Bailey had four tackles.

Cornerback DeAngelo Hall was named the Pro Bowl MVP for his six tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

The Super Bowl is next week, Feb. 6, 2011.
