Denver Broncos Add The Final Pieces To Their Coaching Staff

The Denver Broncos and new head coach John Fox have added the final pieces to their 2011 coaching staff, bringing defensive back coach Ron Milus and linebackers coach Richard Smith aboard.

Ron Milus was the defensive backs coach for John Fox in Carolina in 2010, but he is returning to a job that he has already held. Milus was the Broncos defensive backs coach from 2000 to 2002 before coaching for the Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, St. Louis Rams, and Carolina Panthers

Richard Smith was also on John Fox's staff in 2010 and, just like coach Milus, he has spent time in Denver. Coach Smith was with the Broncos from 1993 to 1996 where he served as a linebackers coach and a special teams coach. Since 1996, Smith has coached for the Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans, and Carolina Panthers.
