The Houston Texans lead the Denver Broncos, 17-0, at halftime in a one-sided affair. The Broncos have been able to do anything on either offense or defense so far. However, the Texans kick started their offense after two three-and-outs to start the game. Running back Arian Foster capped a six-play, 91-yard drive with a three-yard touchdown run to give the Texans a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.
At the start of the second quarter, Texans quarterback Matt Schaub and his wide receiver, Jacoby Jones, connected on two passes for a total of 81 yards. This set up a touchdown pass to tight end Owen Daniels to put the Texans up, 14-0. Neil Rackers added a field goal near the end of the first half.
Foster has 66 yards rushing and Schaub is 10-of-12 for 170 yards.
As for the Broncos, rookie Tim Tebow has had his issues and is 7-of-12 for 100 yards and an interception. Knowshon Moreno is the leading rusher with 19 yards on seven carries. Jabar Gaffney has 32 yards receiving and was blasted on an overthrown pass.
