Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno returned to practice on Thursday, but he had only limited participation. Moreno received a rib injury in Sunday's loss to the Raiders and had only four carries for five yards before missing the majority of the game. However, his return to practice is an encouraging sign that he will be ready to start on Sunday. He and Tim Tebow could provide plenty of problems for the Texans on the ground.
Receiver Demaryius Thomas had limited participation in practice again and could return from his ankle injury this weekend. However, the team should be expecting big things out of him in 2011. Safety Brian Dawkins also has practiced the last two days and should be ready to go. His return should help the rush defense.
Quarterback Kyle Orton is still limited in practice, and the question is whether he will be the backup or the third quarterback against the Texans.
