Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is set to have his memoir, Through My Eyes, released on April 19, 2011. Here is a brief description from the HarperCollins website:
Now, in Through My Eyes, Tebow brings readers everywhere an inspirational memoir about life as he chose to live it, revealing how his faith and family values, combined with his relentless will to succeed, have molded him into the person that he is today.
The book will be released as both a hardcover and an e-book. I doubt I'll by the book in either format, but I'll definitely check it out of my local library once it has one available. However, I can't help but feel the same way Darren Rovell does in his tweet on this: "Love memoirs at 23 years old[.]"
Certainly Tim Tebow has something to tell us about his life, but at 23 he still has so much ahead of him. I assume that this will be volume one and that we'll have future volumes in the years to come.
My question is, will this be a best-seller? Answer in the poll.
[UPDATE]: Adam Schefter reports: "Nathan Whitaker, Tony Dungy's ghostwriter, will co-write it."
