The latest SB Nation NFL Power Rankings were unveiled today and the Denver Broncos climbed five spots after the dismantling of the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday.
↵Despite moving up from 30 to 25 on the list, the 3-6 Broncos still are ranked last amongst AFC West teams, which see the Oakland Raiders taking the highest spot at 13. The Broncos Monday Night Football opponent, San Diego Chargers, are the next ranked AFC West team at 15, and the team they beat last week, Kansas City, comes in at 17.
↵↵↵Big win for the Broncos who exploded offensively to embarrass the Chiefs in Denver last weekend. The Broncos offense is good enough that they should be better than 3-6. They're not quite out of the division race yet, but it's close.

The New England Patriots secured the top spot overall after their convincing win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who dropped four spots from fourth to eighth. The Green Bay Packers are the second ranked team followed by the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets.
