Did You Hear The One About Tim Tebow, Barack Obama And Jesus Christ?

New, 1 comment

Tim Tebow, Barack Obama and Jesus Christ all have something in common. Know what it is? They've all had lawsuits brought against them by a Florida man. The man, John Gilliand, reportedly badmouthed Tim Tebow at a gas station near the University of Florida and this has supposedly resulted in harassment by Broncos/Tebow fans. Well, I still don't understand why a restraining order was filed against Tebow. The quarterback can't control what his fans do. He's neither omnipotent nor omnipresent.

Anyway, what do President Barack Obama and Jesus Christ have in common with Tebow? Gilliand has taken both of them to court as well:

Gilliand has also brought lawsuits against Jesus Christ and President Obama, saying they have all flashed gang signs at him.

Is the peace sign a gang sign theses days? I'm pretty sure all three of them would only be giving that out. I wish I could seen the judge who was presiding over these petitions.

As it turns out, all three requests have been denied, but Gilliand is still petitioning to have the decision on Tebow and Obama overturned.
