Denver Broncos Sink Lower In SB Nation's NFL Power Rankings

The Denver Broncos continue to fall in all kinds of power rankings, mostly because this team lacks the power to win. In the latest SB Nation NFL Power Rankings, the Broncos took another tumble by moving to no. 30 this week. That's down four spots, but one could argue this team should have fallen all the way to the bottom. Here's what Joel Thorman wrote about the Broncos after Sunday's debacle:

Ugh. 59 points from the Raiders? This Broncos team is in serious disarray. Sure, Kyle Orton throws for a ton of yards but they can't win games. They're very disappointing.

"Very disappointing" is putting it mildly. More sad than anything else. And Kyle Orton isn't throwing for a ton of yards any longer.

By cruel fate(?), the Broncos take on the no. 32 San Francisco 49ers this Sunday in London. The 49ers beat the Oakland Raiders, 17-9, the previous week. That's right, an 0-5 Niners team at the time beat the Oakland Raiders, who then clobbered the Broncos this past Sunday.

A 2-6 Broncos team still may escape the bottom of the rankings, because the 0-6 Buffalo Bills play the 4-2 Kansas City Chiefs.
