We know that Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno can start the team's running game, evidenced by his 12-carry, 48-yard effort last Sunday against the Jets. The Broncos will need more of it this Sunday against the 2-4 Oakland Raiders. Even with the self-hurting mistakes the Broncos made, it was one of the best games the Broncos played this season.

Maybe that's because Knowshon Moreno pumped up the Broncos during pregame drills:

↵He struts. He sprints through the opposing team's stretch. He glares. He nods excessively. Uh-huh. Uh-huh.

↵"That's normal for me," Moreno said. "Every game is the same. I'm just excited to be back out there. I like to try to fire guys up. Try to help out the team, basically."

So if anyone is at the game this weekend watch Moreno get his teammates ready to destroy the Oakland Raiders. That will only happen if the Broncos have finally found good consistency in the running game. A steady dose of Knowshon Moreno combined with Kyle Orton working with his trio of wide receivers and the Broncos should be one game closer to a .500 record before heading to London, England.
