Is it time for fantasy owners to trade Denver Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton? There are some telling signs from Sunday's game that owners should take into account. Orton failed to pass for more than 300 yards, only 209 yards in Sunday's game, and was 14-of-34 with his passes. The Broncos offense was finally able to rush the ball, using seven men to attain 145 yards. As long as Knowshon Moreno stays healthy, the running game appears as though it will continue to make an impact.
↵Add in head coach Josh McDaniels' desire to open up the playbook more with Tim Tebow on the field and there are less opportunities for Kyle Orton. So far teams have only seen Tebow come into the game to rush the ball, but once the playbook opens up to pass plays opposing defenses will need to protect the entire field.
↵However, it still remains to be seen if Knowshon Moreno is fully recovered from injury. He certainly had two big runs during the game, but he'll need to shoulder a heavier burden than 12 carries to make him a viable fantasy option. The other running backs still looked plodding out there, especially Laurence Maroney. Until the running game shows more consistency, it's not time to sell Kyle Orton.
↵Owners of Broncos wide receiver Eddie Royal may need to look for a replacement after he left the game with a hamstring injury on Sunday. Look to his teammate Demaryius Thomas, who caught a touchdown for his only reception, as an alternative.
