St. Bonaventure vs. Colorado State: Rams close out non-confernece schedule

Colorado State prepare for Mountain West play with on more home game against the Bonnies.

USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado State Rams (12-2) host the St. Bonaventure Bonnies (7-5) out of the Atlantic 10 conference on Saturday at Moby Arena.

The Rams will try to remain on a roll as they close out non-conference play against the Bonnies and try to avoid looking ahead to their Mountain West opener against No. 19 San Diego State next Saturday. After beating posting a 62-58 win over UTEP on Wednesday, Coloardo State has won six consecutive games.

Big man Colton Iverson leads Colorado State with almost 15 points and nine rebounds per game. The 6'10 senior should have an advantage against the smaller front court players from St. Bonaventure. CSU's swingman Greg Smith averages over 12 points a game but will have his hands full with a touch matchup on Saturday.

Forward Demetrius Conger can score inside and out for St. Bonaventure, and the senior forward out of Brooklyn leads the Bonnies with 14.5 points and 7.6 rebounds and three asists per game. The Rams will also have to keep tabs on guard Eric Mosley around the three-point line. The senior makes nearly half of his three-point attempts so CSU will not want to let Mosley get rolling from behind the arc.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 2:30 p.m MT with television coverage on CBS Sports Network. Radio coverage for the game can be heard in Denver on the flagship station KLZ AM 560.
