The Colorado State Rams (6-1) travel to the Second City on Saturday hoping to avoid their second loss of the season when they play the University of Illinois-Chicago Flames (7-1) at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago.

The Rams have not shied away from tough non-conference games on the road, notching an impressive win at Washington earlier in the season. On Saturday, Colorado State will try to bounce back from their only loss of the season suffered at Colorado on Wednesday night.

Colorado State will lean on their senior inside-outside combo of Colton Iverson and Dorian Green to attack the Flames. Iverson leads the Rams, utilizing his big frame to average nearly 17 points and 12 rebounds per game. Green runs things in the backcourt for Colorado State, averaging over 13 points and three assists per game.

UIC enters the game with the top non-conference record in the Horizon League, boasting wins on the road at Northern Illinois and Northwestern. The Flames only loss came against New Mexico in an early season tournament in the Virgin Islands.

Junior forward Hayden Humes leads the Flames with 14 points and six rebounds per game while also making over half of his three-point shot attempts.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 2 p.m. MT and will be televised on Altitude Sports and Comcast SportsNet Chicago. Radio coverage of the game can be heard on the Colorado State Sports Network in Denver on 560 AM KLZ.
