Colorado State started their season strong with a win over rival Colorado in the Rocky Mountain Showdown, and they'll be looking to continue the success that they saw in that game as they face off against the North Dakota State Bison on Saturday.
Defense was the word of the day for CSU in their win against CU, picking up five sacks and punishing the Buffaloes running game all day long in their new 3-4 defense. Switching their defensive formation looks like it was a worthy experiment to try so far, and the Bison shouldn't provide that much more of a test than the Buffaloes did. NDSU is coming off of their first ever National Championship at the FCS level, which they won by going 14-1 in 2011.
NDSU has won two straight FBS games, against Kansas in 2010 and Minnesota in 2011. They are coming off of a 52-0 smashing of Robert Morris.
The game will be at Hughes Stadium at 1 p.m. MT.
