After beating their in-state rival in Boulder, the Colorado Buffaloes, in their season opener, the 2012 year looked to be off to a very good start for Colorado State. Since then, the Rams have lost by a combined 35 points to North Dakota State and San Jose State while Colorado has similarly floundered.
Following these back-to-back losses, the Rams enter a home game as two score underdogs against a Utah State team that has been impressive to start the season. After upsetting Utah at home, the Aggies traveled to Wisconsin and fell to the Badgers by just two points.
Led by Chuckie Keeton at quarterback, Utah State has played efficient football without much mistakes. CSU will have to similarly limit mistakes if they hope to get their second victory of the season.
