The Colorado State 2012-13 men's basketball scheduled was released on Tuesday, announcing the team will play nine games on national television, according to a university press release.
Following a season in which the Rams earned their first bid into the NCAA Tournament in nine years (falling to Murray State in the Second Round), the program boasts a battle-tested roster but also a new head coach. After Tim Miles' departure for the University of Nebraska, former Iowa State head coach Larry Eustachy steps in to take the reigns in Fort Collins.
Under their new leadership, the Rams will appear on CBS Sports Network the first of six times on Jan. 2, when Colorado State plays host to the UTEP Miners.
The rest of the Rams' nationally televised contests will be conference games against some of the Mountain West's favorites, including the following: At San Diego State on Jan. 12 (NBC Sports Network), vs. UNLV on Jan. 19 (NBC Sports Network), at New Mexico on Jan. 23 (CBS Sports Network), at Nevada on Feb. 6 (CBS Sports Network), vs. San Diego State on Feb. 13 (CBS Sports Network), at UNLV on Feb. 20 (CBS Sports Network), vs. New Mexico on Feb. 23 (NBC Sports Network), and vs. Nevada on March 9 (CBS Sports Network).
