2012 Rimington Award Watch List: Colorado State's Weston Richburg Recognized As One Of College Football's Top Centers

Weston Richburg is one of 50 players on the Rimington watch list.

Colorado State's Weston Richburg is one of five Mountain West Conference football players to make the 2012 Rimington Trophy watch list. The Rimington is given annually to the nation's top center.

The winner will be announced on Jan. 12, 2013.

Five Mountain West football student-athletes are among the 50 candidates for the 2012 Rimington Trophy, given to the nation's top center. Colorado State junior Weston Richburg, New Mexico junior Dillon Farrell and Wyoming senior Nick Carlson, who were named to the 2011 watch list, were recognized for the second consecutive year and are joined by San Diego State senior Alec Johnson and UNLV sophomore Robert Waterman. The Mountain West's five candidates tie for the second-most of any league.
