Colorado State Football 2012: Rams Look To Get Offensive Line Healthy

Any offense can be stabilized by having depth and experience on the offensive line, and that's one of the things that new Colorado State Rams head coach Jim McElwain is looking for as he readies his team for the 2012 season.

On Wednesday, Kelly Leyell of The Coloradoan spotlighted the rehab efforts of Rams offensive linemen Joe Caprioglio and Jared Biard, both of whom are recovering from torn ACLs in their left knees instead of practicing with the team. The two tackles both underwent surgery to repair their ACLs last fall, and are expected to be cleared for participation in conditioning drills and other football activities.

Caprioglio, a senior and native of Highlands Ranch, Colo., started in nine games in 2010 and the first three games of last season before suffering his injury. Biard, who is a junior out of Texas, tore his ACL in fall camp last year and hasn't seen regular season action since November of 2010.
