Bracketology 2012: Latest Projection From Joe Lunardi Has Colorado State In As A No. 11 Seed

ESPN's Joe Lunardi has updated his 2012 NCAA Tournament bracket projection to reflect the games played on Thursday, which included a win by Colorado State over TCU in the Mountain West Conference Tournament. As a result of that, and the fact that CSU has really helped itself in recent weeks with wins over New Mexico and UNLV, the Rams are more comfortably in the field of 68 than they have been in some time.

Lunardi has the Rams in the field as a No. 11 seed, which means they avoid the "First Four" mid-week games in Dayton. The Rams may also be able to afford a loss to San Diego State on Friday night, though a win there would leave no doubt as to CSU's NCAA status on Sunday.
