Bracketology 2012: Colorado State Makes The Field In Jerry Palm's Latest Projection

The Colorado State Rams have delivered down the stretch of the season, buttressing their solid RPI standing with more quality wins; they beat New Mexico and UNLV at home in the last couple of weeks and they took care of must-win games against Air Force and TCU. The TCU win came in the MWC Tournament, and advanced the Rams to the semifinal round, where they will have a chance to beat San Diego State for another quality win.

But beating SDSU may not be necessary for an at-large bid to the 2012 NCAA Tournament at this point, though the Rams' situation is still somewhat fluid. CBS Sports' Jerry Palm updated his bracket projection late Thursday night and has CSU in the NCAAs as a No. 11 seed.
