Colorado State Vs. TCU Final Score: Rams Roll To 81-60 Victory

Colorado State got off to a fast start against TCU in Thursday's quarterfinal round of the 2012 Mountain West Conference Tournament and never really looked back. The Rams built a double digit halftime lead and were able to hold off the Horned Frogs without too much trouble in the second half, eventually taking an 81-60 win.

Pierce Hornung had 16 points for the Rams, who shot 52.6% from the field. Wes Eikmeier finished with 15 points, Dwight Smith had 13 and three other CSU players finished in double figures as well.

Scoring wasn't nearly so easy for the Horned Frogs, who shot under 40% for the game, including a 2-20 effort from beyond the arc. They were dominated on the boards and finished -3 in the turnover column, which did not help either.

Colorado State advances to Saturday's semifinal round, where it will face No. 1 seed San Diego State.
