Bracketology 2012: Colorado State Would Be A 12-Seed If The Tournament Started Today

By taking care of business in a win over Air Force on March 3, the Colorado State Rams appear to have taken themselves off the bubble. The Rams have won four of their last five games, highlighted by a 71-63 victory over New Mexico on Feb. 21. Ever since, Colorado State has been pegged as a team likely to grab an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. At this point, the rhetoric surrounding the team is where they'll be seeded, not if they'll make it.

In Chris Dobbertean's latest Bracketology update over at SB Nation, the Rams are a No. 12 seed matched up against Murray State. Given the NCAA Tournament's long history of 12-5 upsets, the pairing should fit Colorado State just right.

Before the Rams can worry about their spot in the NCAA Tournament, they still have to play in the Mountain West Tournament. Colorado State meets TCU on Tuesday in their first game.
