The 2012 Mountain West Tournament has been set after Saturday's regular season-ending games put to rest any questions on how the standings would shape up. The No. 1 San Diego St. Aztecs took the top spot after tying the New Mexico Lobos with the a 10-4 conference record. The tiebreaker that resulted in the Aztecs gaining the No. 1 seed came as a result of going 2-0 against the TCU Horned Frogs. The Aztecs defeated the Horned Frogs on Saturday.

With New Mexico in the No. 2 spot, the UNLV Rebels took No.3 and the Colorado St. Rams took No. 4. The Air Force Falcons tied with the Boise St. Broncos with league-worst 3-11 records. However, Air Force won the tiebreaker and will face New Mexico. The Falcons lost by 39 and 30 points, respectively, in their two games against the Lobos this season.
