Colorado State Basketball Coaching Search: Jack Graham To Meet With 'A Few Candidates' Over Weekend

Colorado St. Rams athletic director Jack Graham is ready to start interviewing coaches for the basketball team's vacant head coaching position -- Tim Miles left last weekend for Nebraska -- but don't expect him to hire anyone over the weekend while he is down in New Orleans for the Final Four. Graham hopes to meet several potential candidates while down there, but just as a means to "touch base" with them, reports Kelly Lyell of the Coloradoan.

Graham, according to the Coloradoan, will maybe get 45 minutes at most with a handful of potential candidates, but the athletic director wants at least a four-hour interview to substantively know his possible future employees.

JMI Sports has been hired by Graham to create the list of candidates and then help with the interviewing process. Jeff Schemmel, brother of Colorado Rockies' radio broadcaster Jerry Schemmel, heads JMI Sports' college division and will be actively involved with Graham during this process.
