Bracketology 2012: Colorado, Colorado State Get Seeding Projections

Having won the 2012 Pac-12 Tournament this weekend in Los Angeles, the Colorado Buffaloes know for a fact that they're in the 2012 NCAA Tournament, but their seeding is still up in the air. In his most recent 2012 Bracketology update for SB Nation, Chris Dobbertean predicts that the Buffaloes will secure a 12 seed, along with fellow automatic qualifiers in the Long Beach State 49ers and at-large selections in the Texas Longhorns and BYU Cougars. In his mock bracket, Dobbertean has Colorado facing the Murray St. Racers in the tournament's first round.

But with that 12 seed, the Buffaloes may not be the highest seeded team in Colorado. In Dobbertean's bracket, the Colorado St. Rams check in as an 11 seed, which is a solid, relaxing placement considering where they stood a few weeks ago. In his Bracketology projection, Dobbertean has the Rams facing the Vanderbilt Commodores, though that may change if Vandy can knock off the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday afternoon, claiming the SEC Tournament championship.
