NCAA Tournament 2012 Bracket Update: Colorado State Is No. 11, Will Face No. 6 Murray State In West Region

The Colorado St. Rams were a bubble team, but they had enough quality wins to enter the NCAA Tournament as a No. 11 seed. They will face No. 6 Murray State.

The 2012 NCAA Tournament bracket and field has been announced, and the Colorado St. Rams will receive a No. 11 seed in the West region. The Rams' first opponent will be the Murray St. Racers, and they will play on Thursday in Louisville, Ky. If the Rams win their first matchup, they will face the winner of the No. 3 Marquette Golden Eagles and either No. 14 BYU Cougars or Iona Gaels.

The Rams earned the No. 11 by going 20-11 during the season and making it to the semifinals of the Mountain West Tournament. They upset the UNLV Rebels and the San Diego St. Aztecs, both teams that had been ranked in the teens of the top 25 polls at the time.
