Bracketology 2012: Colorado State Bounced From MWC Tournament, Waits For Selection Sunday

The Colorado St. Rams must wait until Sunday evening to find out their spot in the 2012 NCAA Tournament after losing to the San Diego St. Aztecs on Friday night in the 2012 Mountain West Tournament -- that is, if there is a spot for them. The Rams, 20-11 overall, likely have done enough to secure a low-teens seed in the tournament. That's how Chris Dobbertean has it projected in his latest 2012 Bracketology.

The Rams make it as a No. 12 seed against the No. 5 Murray St. Racers in the West region. The winner of that game waits for the team that emerges between the No. 4 Wisconsin Badgers or the No. 13 Drexel Dragons and N.C. State Wolfpack. The latter two teams are playing in a First Four matchup in Dayton, OH.

The Rams are part of the last four teams in that avoid that trip to Dayton. Will the actual selection committee see things that way, too?
