Colorado St. Vs. San Diego St.: Rams Continue Push For Tournament Spot

Colorado St. (17-9, 6-5) faces a huge test when it travels to face No. 25 San Diego St. (21-6, 7-4).

On the heels of an enormous victory over No. 21 New Mexico, the Colorado St. Rams continue their push for an NCAA Tournament berth when they visit No. 25 San Diego St. for a huge matchup. In the first meeting between the two teams this season, Colorado St. played arguably its best game of the season in the 77-61 victory.

Dorian Green has been a key contributor for the Rams all season, averaging 13.2 ppg and shooting 46.4% from behind the three-point line. During the two-game winning streak, Green is averaging 15 ppg and has provided key leadership. Pierce Hornung provides Colorado St. with a strong presence in the paint, as he is averaging 8.6 ppg and a team-high 8.5 rpg. In the victory over the Lobos, Hornung scored 13 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for the double-double.

The Aztecs enter this game having lost three of their past four. In their OT win over Wyoming, Jamaal Franklin returned from an ankle injury to score 12 points. Franklin leads the Aztecs with 15.8 ppg on just 41.8% shooting from the field.
