The Colorado State Rams are in solid tournament shape from an RPI ratings perspective, but most tournament projections to this point have the Rams narrowly missing the field. CBS Sports' Jerry Palm updated his 2012 NCAA tournament projections on Tuesday afternoon, and once again Colorado State is just outside the field of 68; Palm lists the Rams as the last team out.
As of now, Palm projects the Mountain West to get three bids -- New Mexico, UNLV and San Diego State. The Rams have a great opportunity to state their tournament case, as they face those three back-to-back-to-back starting on Tuesday night against New Mexico.
