The 2011-2012 NCAA college basketball season is down to its last few games of the regular season. Conference tournaments will heat up after that, and for the Colorado St. Rams that will likely be the only way for the team to get into the 2012 NCAA Tournament. SB Nation's latest Bracketology 2012 projection has displaced the Rams from the field, making them one of the first four teams out of the tournament.
After upsetting the San Diego St. Aztecs, the Rams entered the projections, but a loss to the UNLV Rebels hurt further chances of postseason play. The team took care of Air Force a little while later before falling to TCU on the road.
The Mountain West does have three teams in the tournament: San Diego State, UNLV and New Mexico.
In the Pac-12, only California and Arizona make it. The Colorado Buffaloes will need the conference tournament title to make it, as well.
