College Football Recruiting: Official Commits Roll In For Rams

New Colorado State Rams head coach Jim McElwain won't truly get to flex his muscles in recruiting until the 2013 class, but he has been working the recruiting trail hard as the 2012 period winds down, and today he started to see that work pay off, as National Letters of Intent began rolling into the football offices in Fort Collins.

The list of official Rams commitment is headed by a crop of players from California, Texas and, of course, Colorado. Of the thirteen to have faxed their Letters of Intent, six play defense and seven play offense, as McElwain begins to build a foundation on both sides of the ball.
