2012 Colorado State Recruiting: Rams Have 15 Verbal Commits Heading Into Signing Day

The Colorado St. Rams 2012 class is sitting at 15 players which is low compared to the last four years when they had at least 22 during that span, so look for Colorado State to add some more players come singing day. The top two players for Colorado State are a trio of three-star recruits in tight end Brett Jordan, wide receiver Jordon Vaden and linebacker Kevin Davis. However, the star rating for the non-BCS is not as important as their BCS counterparts, but it is more important to where Colorado State stands within the Mountain West.

For Colorado State those rankings within the Mountain West are not good as they are ranked last by 247 Sports and Rivals with Scout having them ranked No. 7 in the Mountain West. Those poor rankings could be traced back to having three straight losing seasons and a coaching change. These rankings can change once the faxes start coming in, and just a reminder that these are 17- and 18-year-old kids so there is a possibility of them changing their minds. On the eve of signing day here is the list of verbal commitments that Colorado State has so far.
