Colorado St. Vs. San Diego St. Score Update: Rams Build Impressive Halftime Lead

In perhaps its biggest game so far this season, Colorado St. delivered a memorable performance in the opening 20 minutes and holds a 40-28 halftime lead over No. 12 San Diego St. The Aztecs entered this game as the lone unbeaten team in the Mountain West Conference.

The Rams used a balanced offensive effort to grab the lead at the half. Seven different players scored for Colorado St., with Will Bell leading the way with 10 points. CSU did an excellent job taking care of the ball against the very aggressive San Diego St. defense, as it only turned the ball over four times.

Jamaal Franklin was the main offensive threat for the Aztecs in the opening 20 minutes. Franklin scored a team-high 12 points on 5/9 shooting and grabbed four rebounds. Tim Shelton proved to be a force in the paint, scoring six points and pulling down a team-high eight rebounds.
