After a scoreless third quarter by both teams, the Rams recorded the first touchdown of the second half on a drive that lasted 11 plays, 40 yards and took 5:39 off the clock; the drive also featured a fourth down conversion which kept this scoring drive alive. Running back Chris Nwoke scored the touchdown on a two-yard run up the middle to give the Rams a 14-10 lead.
The extended drive allowed for the Ram defense that was looking getting winded by chasing down Tarean Austin who has been elusive and making plays tonight.
and the touchdown was a 10-point swing since the Lobos turned the ball over by missing a 48-yard field goal by James Aho.
The Lobos are now driving down the field and are in Colorado State territory and are threatening to score the go ahead touchdown.
