Colorado State Vs. Utah Final Score: Rams Use Big Second Half To Defeat Utes, 78-65

The Colorado St. Rams could not afford another loss if they wanted to keep their slim NCAA tournament hopes alive. The Rams were able to defeat the inconsistent Utah Utes by using a big second half to end the Utes three-game winning streak.

The Rams were lead by forward Andy Ogide who had his 17th double-double as he had 24 points and  10 rebounds. The win was the Rams 19th on the year which matches their most since they had 19 wins in the 2002-2003 season. Free throw shooting was the difference in this game as Colorado State went 24 for 26 from the line while Utah went 8 for 11. The Utes were led in scoring by Josh Waktins who scored 22 points.

The Rams end their season on Saturday March 5 when they travel to take on the San Diego St. Aztecs.
