UNLV Has Big Second Half To Beat Colorado State, 68-61

(Sports Network) - Oscar Bellfield scored 18 points as the UNLV Runnin' Rebels bested the Colorado State Rams, 68-61, in Mountain West Conference action at Moby Arena.

Anthony Marshall scored 16 points for UNLV (20-7, 8-5 MWC), which has won three of its last four. Chace Stanback added 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Andy Ogide scored 19 points and grabbed seven caroms for the Rams (18-8, 8-4), which had won three straight. Wes Eikmeier added 13 points and Dorian Green 10.

Colorado State took a 27-22 halftime lead after shooting 11-of-26 from the floor in the first 20 minutes.

UNLV took control after halftime, going 15-of-29 from the floor and 7-of-13 from long range.

Colorado State was just 4-of-17 from outside the arc and turned the ball over 17 times.
