Colorado State's Andy Ogide was named this week's Mountain West Conference basketball player of the week. Ogide shared the award with New Mexico's Drew Gordon:
↵↵↵Ogide averaged 21.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.0 block and 1.0 steal last week while helping the Rams to wins over Air Force and Utah. In a 69-66 victory against the Falcons, Ogide converted 7-of-8 attempts from the field to finish with 15 points and two rebounds.
↵The Marietta, Ga., native followed that performance with a career-high 28 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots in a 74-68 win at Utah, going 10-of-17 from the field, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range, and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. For the week, Ogide shot 68.0 percent (17-of-25) from the field, 80.0 percent (4-of-5) from behind the arc and 83.3 percent (5-of-6) at the foul line.

Colorado State will need Ogide to have another career performance as the Rams host No. 7 San Diego State Aztecs Wednesday night at 7 p.m. MT at Moby Arena. The game is expected to draw a large crowd with the possibility of another sell out so if hurry up and get your tickets for Wednesday's game.
