Duke Vs. Colorado State Is A Rematch Of 2003 NCAA Tournament Game

The last time the Colorado St. Rams made the NCAA Tournament was in 2003. That season the Rams finished the Mountain West Conference regular season with a 16-13 record before going on a three-game winning streak to capture the conference tournament. The Rams were the No. 6 seed, the lowest to win the tournament, by defeating the Wyoming Cowboys, the BYU Cougars in overtime and the UNLV Rebels.

And then the Rams faced the Duke Blue Devils in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The Rams lost to the Blue Devils, 67-57. Matt Nelson and Brian Greene scored 21 and 14 points, respectively, while no other player reached more than nine points.

Back then, Duke had J.J. Redick (16 points), Dahntay Jones (23 points) and Sheldon Williams (12 rebounds). Can Rivers and the Plumlees get the deal done like their predecessors?
