The Colorado and Air Force basketball teams are taking it easy over the holiday week, with one big exception: they will face each other in Colorado Springs on Wednesday night. It will be the first time that the two have played since November 2007, when the Buffaloes went on the road and defeated the Falcons 60-50.
Colorado is returning this week from San Juan, Puerto Rico, where they were participating in the 5 Hour Energy Puerto Rico Tip-off. The Buffs, who are 2-2 on the season, went 1-2 in the tournament, losing their opening two games to Wichita State and Maryland before beating Western Michigan in their final game. Before the tournament, the Bears opened the season with an 85-57 victory over Fort Lewis College.
The Falcons meanwhile are currently undefeated on the season, though they have yet to really test themselves in three wins over Army, Virginia Military Institute and Western State.
Here are the full schedules for this week for both teams, as well as for Colorado State.
