Colorado St. Vs. TCU Score Update: Horned Frogs Strike Quick To Take 27-10 Lead

No. 19 TCU turned a rather tense encounter into a comfortable lead in the matter of minutes, as the Horned Frogs scored 2 TD's in 90 seconds to build a 27-10 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.

After struggling in the opening half, TCU QB Casey Pachall led an impressive 88-yard drive that was finished off by a one-yard TD run from Ed Wesley. On the following drive, CSU freshman QB Garrett Grayson was intercepted by Tank Carder, who returned the pick for a TD.

Apart from the interception, Grayson has been excellent, completing 12/16 for 221 yards. Grayson bounced back from the interception to hook up with Raymond Carter for a 66-yard TD pass at the end of the quarter.

The Horned Frogs have used their physical rushing attack to move the ball on offense. Matthew Tucker, Waymon James and Ed Wesley have combined for 166 yards on the ground.
