San Diego State Vs. Colorado State: S Ivory Herd's Suspension Lifted

The Colorado St. Rams face a tall task on Saturday when they face Ryan Lindley, Ronnie Hillman and the rest of the San Diego St. Aztecs offense, but the team did receive good news early on Saturday. Safety Ivory Herd was reinstated to the team after being suspended for the last two games (losses to UTEP and UNLV), reports the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey.

Herd was suspended indefinitely back in October by head coach Steve Fairchild after he was arrested on charges of domestic violence toward his girlfriend. Fairchild had said that the suspension would not last for the entire season, but there is no indication right now what has changed to make the suspension last for only two games.

The Rams are looking to end a two-game losing streak to the Aztecs on Saturday.
