The Colorado St. Rams defense has been down one of their star players in linebacker Mychal Sisson fractured his ankle against Northern Colorado. Sisson has been been using crutches and a walking boot for the past few weeks, but now he is walking without that assistance and is eying a Nov. 19 return against the TCU Horned Frogs:
"We will know more when it's red-jersey time out there and we tape him up and let him run around a little bit," Fairchild said. "We will probably be able to then set a time where he would come back. I don't think Myke Sisson will be back this week. I think Myke, in his mind, is thinking TCU. Probably after the bye (week), we will run around and see where we are at a bit."
Sisson is a senior and a captain's on this years team his pending return is mostly going to be for pride to get back on the field and be part of this team for a few more weeks, because the odds of Colorado State making a bowl game are slim since they lost a few winnable games against this year against the San Jose St. Spartans and the UTEP Miners
