Boise State Vs. Colorado State Final Score: Kellen Moore, Broncos Trample Rams, 63-13

The Colorado St. Rams won't have many fond memories of their first game against the Boise St. Broncos. The Rams suffered a massive defeat, 63-13. The Broncos led by as many as 35 points in the second quarter before the Rams were able to muster two touchdowns. However, things didn't get any kinder in the second half, as Boise State scored 28 unanswered points in the third quarter.

Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore picked up his 44th career victory and is one win away from tying Colt McCoy's NCAA record of 45. He will go for it next week against the Air Force Falcons. Moore was 26-of-30 for 338 yards and four touchdown passes.

Running back Doug Martin put up 200 yards on 20 carries against the Rams. He found the end zone three times. Fellow running back D.J. Harper entered the end zone twice.

Both Colorado State touchdowns came from non-quarterbacks. Tight end Crockett Gillmore and wide receiver Charles Lovett found the end zone on their throws. Quarterback Pete Thomas struggled to reach 100 passing yards, going 10-of-24.

The Rams (3-3) are on the road next week against the UTEP Miners.
