Future Colorado State Ram Sets Single Game Rushing Record

New, 1 comment

Kapri Bibbs, who currently is a soft verbal commit to Colorado State, set an Illinois high school single game rushing record with 520 rushing yards and also had seven touchdowns in a 49-43 win last Friday. What is even more amazing is that Bibbs accounted for all but 24 yards in the teams win.

Here is a snap shot of Bibbs' numbers from the historic night:

After racking up 215 yards in the first half, Bibbs scored on runs of 55, 73 and 71 yards in the third quarter, the last of which put North (5-1, 3-0) up 42-28 with 4:33 to play in the third quarter.

Bibbs' touchdown runs were from 9, 75, 31, 55, 73, 71 and 44 yards.

The Rams could really use Bibbs on the roster this year since the Rams are dead last in the country in the run, but the better Bibbs does this year increases the odds that some better teams will start offering him a scholarship. On the season Bibbs has 1,678 yards and 25 touchdowns in only six games.
