Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Jordan Wynn threw three touchdown passes, as the ninth-ranked Utah Utes kept their home winning streak going with a 59-6 victory over the Colorado State Rams in Mountain West Conference action from Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Wynn completed 23-of-29 passes for 321 yards for the Utes (7-0, 4-0 MWC), who have won 21 straight games in their own building dating back to September of 2007. Terrance Cain came on in relief and connected on 9-of-11 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown.
Eddie Wide carried the ball nine times for 71 yards and a score and also caught a touchdown pass. Matt Asiata rushed for 39 yards and two TDs on seven carries, while Sausan Shakerin carried the ball four times for 80 yards and a score.
DeVonte Christopher caught five passes for 111 yards and a touchdown while Shaky Smithson hauled in five passes for 72 yards and a score for Utah, which has won eight in a row dating back to last season.
True freshman Pete Thomas completed 19-of-28 passes for 185 yards and an interception for the Rams (2-6, 1-3), who have been held to 10 points or fewer five times already in 2010.
