The Air Force Falcons have jumped all over the Colorado St. Rams at home with an offensive outburst to lead 21-0 after the first quarter.
The Falcons got off to a fast start with two touchdowns within the first five minutes of the game.
First, running back Jon Lee scored on a 7-yard touchdown with 13:39 left to give the Falcons the lead. Lee scored at the end of a five-play, 75-yard drive that only took 1:21 off the clock.
Second, quarterback Connor Dietz tossed a 53-yard touchdown pass to Drew Coleman for the Falcons' second touchdown with 10:09 remaining to give the Falcons a 14-0 lead. This drive went for 65 yards in four plays and only took 1:28 off the clock.
Ty MacArthur added a 4-yard touchdown with 1:10 remaining in the first quarter to give the Falcons their 21-0 first quarter lead.
Cody Getz leads the Falcons with 85 yards on seven carries. The Falcons as a team have rushed for 167 yards on 23 carries and two touchdowns while their defense has held the Rams to 35 yards total in the first quarter.
